Pyramid Hill and the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra invites the public to a Spring Serenade.
Musicians from the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra will be back at Pyramid Hill to perform a Spring Serenade on Sunday, May 2nd. This special FREE outdoor experience offers a safe, socially-distanced opportunity to enjoy music amongst the rolling landscapes and monumental sculptures featured at Pyramid Hill. From 4PM – 6PM, guests are invited to take a stroll around the park as three CCO ensembles perform short musical arrangements next to some of the park’s most iconic sculptures. Guests are welcome to grab a drink at the Grand Pavilion bar then make their way around the mile-long performance path.
"We always look forward to partnering with Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park,” said CCO Executive Director, LeAnne Anklan. “We love to break our ensembles out of the concert hall and bring them into the community. The idyllic environs of Pyramid Hill provide the perfect spot to bring together these two incredible artforms."
In order to maintain safe social-distancing, guests must register for this event on the Pyramid Hill website prior to the day of the event. Guests can register for two time slots 4 – 5PM and 5 – 6PM. Guests registered for the first timeslot may arrive at the park at 3:45 and those registered for the 5-6PM timeslot may arrive at 4:45PM. Pyramid Hill asks that guests exit the park shortly after their registered time ends. Each timeslot is limited to 100 attendees. To register, visit: www.pyramidhill.org/spring-serenade
"Early May will be beautiful in the Park! And to make it even more amazing, we are very pleased to be partnering again with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra for Spring Serenade,” stated Pyramid Hill Interim Director, Lee Sanders. “Their beautiful music in intimate groupings, amid the monumental sculptures and nature bursting with Spring—it’s a perfect way to spend a late afternoon in May!"
